She was the daughter of Asfour, a stallion of exceptional quality bred in Germany and later exported to Australia, where he became the foundation sire of Marion Richmond's renowned Simeon Stud. Asfour’s influence in the Arabian horse world is profound, with his progeny known for their beauty and refinement.
Simeon Saada’s dam, Simeon Safanad, was a mare of significant importance. She was the first-born daughter of 27 Ibn Galal V, the esteemed foundation mare of Simeon Stud. 27 Ibn Galal V was born at Babolna Stud, Hungary in 1973.
As a full sister to the late Simeon Sadik who was sold to late Rolling Stones drummer Charly Watts and his wife Shirley.
Simeon Saada was also a maternal half-sister to the late Simeon Shai, another legendary halter show horse and breeding sire in the United States.
Though Simeon Saada herself was never shown, her true value lay in her contributions as a broodmare. Her progeny inherited her refined qualities and carried forward her legacy. Among her notable offspring were the black stallion Simeon Sachor, known for his striking beauty and presence, and Simeon Saadia, a mare sired by Imperial Madaar. Simeon Saadia continued her dam’s legacy within the Simeon Stud program, ensuring that the traits and qualities of this exceptional lineage were preserved for future generations.
