Om El Amir traces back to the Spanish "queen" Estopa. Estopa appears on dam and sire line. Om El Amir's sire Estopasan was the first foal of the Estopa-Rastano mating. From it only a second colt was produced: Rastano Ibn Estopa that had less influence in breeding than Estopasan.
