The mare Imperia traces back to Inazzah, a German Elite mare that founded her own family at Ismer Stud. Imperia's sire was Shagar. He was a snow-white son by Ghazal. Ghazal was imported from Egypt to Germany. His last owner was Arabian horse specialist Carl-Heinz Dömken. He's admired this stallion so much that he dedicated a book to Ghazal. Imperia also became broodmare at Ismer stud. Her son Madkours Impuls might be the most famous of her foals.
