Iman Ibn Aman
Born in 2003, Iman Ibn Aman is a son of the black Egyptian stallion Carsal Aman. Carsal Aman was sired by Ansata Exemplar and out of Aliah G.M..
Ansata Exemplar, a black stallion bred by Ansata Arabians in the United States, was later exported to Germany, where he stood at Carsal Arabians from 2005 until his export to Qatar. Through Ansata Exemplar, Iman Ibn Aman belongs to the direct sire line of Alaa Al Din, bred at El Zahraa Stud in Cairo.
On the dam side, Carsal Aman traces to the Babson-bred mare Faziza (by Far-Turf), foaled in the United States and later exported to Germany. Her import introduced the rare Babson lines into German breeding.
Carsal Aman was acquired by Gundula and Bernd Schmitt for their Herrenmühle Stud in Germany. Before being gelded, he sired only five foals in addition to Iman Ibn Aman, most of them black in color.
Iman Ibn Aman’s dam, Inshalima, was by Ibn Galal-1, a son by Ibn Galal (also known as Magdi), who had been imported to Bábolna Stud in Hungary. Inshalima’s dam, Indschima II, was by the Polish stallion Euben, an influential sire in the breeding program of the Thörner family in Germany. Bred at Janów Podlaski, Euben was by Bandos out of Eunice (by Comet).
The dam line of Indschima II reflects the old German foundation, incorporating bloodlines from historic studs such as Ismer, Marbach, and Achental. Her maternal granddam, the chestnut mare Innazzah (by Wisznu), was regarded as one of the most beautiful mares ever bred by Gertraude Griesbach of Achental Stud.
As of 2025, Iman Ibn Aman has no registered offspring.
