Few mares in the modern Arabian breeding embody both heritage and achievement as completely as Emandoria, the 2004 grey mare bred at Michalow Stud in Poland. Renowned for her refined beauty, perfect balance, and unmistakable presence, she represents the pinnacle of the Polish “E” family — a female line that has produced champions for more than half a century.
Emandoria is by Gazal Al Shaqab (1995), the internationally influential bay stallion bred by Al Shaqab Stud in Qatar. He was a son of Anaza El Farid and out of Kajora. During his lease to the Polish State Studs in 2003 and 2004, he revolutionized Polish breeding, siring some of the most successful show horses of the era, including Pianissima, Etnologia, and Emandoria. His get are celebrated for their expressive heads, balanced conformation, and undeniable show charisma.
Emandoria’s dam, Emanda (1996-2023, by Ecaho out of Emanacja), was one of Janów Podlaski’s most valuable mares and a direct descendant of the legendary Emigracja. Being from the first foal crop of Ecaho, Emanda was tall and aristocratic, with a luminous silvery coat, animated trot and exotic type.
Emanda was a World Senior Champion Mare herself and an Aristocrat Dam with five champion offspring. Her daughter Emandoria extended that success, becoming an Elite Aristocrat Dam with eight champion progeny. Remarkably, Emanda and Emandoria are the only mother-daughter pair in Arabian horse history to both hold World Senior Champion Mare titles, linking generations of excellence within the E-line that traces back to Emigracja through Emanacja.
Emandoria’s show career ranks among the most distinguished in modern Arabian history, spanning more than a decade and three continents.
Emandoria quickly established herself as a leading Junior filly. In 2005, she earned Polish National Reserve Champion Filly (Janów Podlaski), European Reserve Champion Filly (Verona, Italy), and World Champion Filly at the Salon du Cheval, Paris — her first world title. The following year, she continued her success by winning Champion Filly and Best-in-Show at the Polish Spring Show (Bialka, Poland), as well as European Champion Filly in Moorsele, Belgium.
Emandoria made a successful transition to senior competition. Highlights include Reserve Champion Mare at the All Nations Cup in Aachen (2009), Bronze Medal at the European Championships (Verona, 2009), and Bronze Medal at the World Championships (Paris, 2009).
From 2010 onward, she dominated major international A-shows winning All Nations Cup Senior Gold Champion Mare, European Senior Gold Champion Mare, and World Senior Silver Champion Mare.
Emandoria achieved her career peak in 2013 by sweeping the senior Triple Crown, winning Gold in the All Nations Cup Aachen, European Championships, and World Championships in the same year.
Her longevity and continued excellence were recognized in 2018 when she received the Platin Cup Champion Mare title at the Salon du Cheval, Paris — one of the highest honors in Arabian horse showing, highlighting her enduring influence and elite status.
Emandoria has proven herself not only as a show mare but also as an exceptional broodmare, passing on her refinement, charisma, and type to a generation of internationally recognized horses. Her first notable offspring, H Emandila H (by El Nabila B, 2008), continued the family tradition as a broodmare herself, producing H Emelia H, an East Coast Champion Mare. The following year, her son Royal Emanuel (by Eden C, 2009) established his own reputation, earning multiple US National Top Ten Stallion titles.
In 2010, Emandoria produced Emerald J (by QR Marc), who became a multi-international champion, including Gold Champion Colt at the Al Khalediah Arabian Horse Festival in 2012 and Silver Champion Stallion at the All Nations Cup 2017 and is now recognized as an influential sire in his own right.
Her daughter AJ Emana (by AJ Mardan, 2014) has achieved top honors in the Middle East, winning Gold Champion Mare titles at both the Dubai International and Sharjah International Arabian Horse Shows in 2018. Her most recent notable offspring, Emanolla (by Vitorio TO, 2015), won Polish National Gold Champion Filly in 2018 and placed among the top competitors at the World Championships in Paris in both 2018 and 2019.
Through these offspring, Emandoria has not only extended her influence internationally but also reinforced the strength and consistency of the E-line, combining Polish breeding excellence with modern global show standards.
