El Thay Mahfouz's dam El Thay Mahfouza is a granddaughter of Morawa, a valuable broodmare of the Tauschke family and their El Thayeba stud in Germany. Morawa was a daughter of Momtaza who was imported from Egypt to Hungary in 1969, later to Germany.
El Thay Mahfouz is standing at El Thayeba stud, continuing the legacy of his great-granddam Morawa.
