Eksterna
Eksterna was sired by Ekstern. Ekstern was a legendary Polish Arabian stallion who left an indelible mark on the breed. He was sired by Monogramm, an influential sire born at Patterson Arabians in the United States. Monogramm was sired by Negatraz and was out of Monogramma, a Knippel daughter, making him a key contributor to the modern Arabian breed.
Ekstern was one of the most proven sires at Michalów Stud, producing exceptionally beautiful daughters known for their type, movement, and refinement. Aside from his success as a sire, he also had a remarkable show career. He was crowned Polish National Champion both as a Junior and Senior stallion, demonstrating his outstanding conformation and Arabian type. In 2000, Ekstern achieved the prestigious Triple Crown title by winning the All Nations Cup, the European Championships, and the World Championships—a feat that cemented his reputation as one of the finest Arabian stallions of his time. His exceptional charisma, powerful movement, and perfect Arabian type made him a standout in the show ring and a valuable sire for future generations.
Eksterna's dam was Emanta. Emanta was born at Michalów Stud and was later sold to Falbroek Arabians in Poland for $70,000. The grey mare Emanta traced back to the treasured Michalów E-family of Emigracja, one of the most influential dam lines in Polish breeding history. Emanta's dam was Emanacja, the second-born daughter of Emigracja and one of seven full sisters by the legendary Eukaliptus. Emanacja herself was named Polish National Champion Mare in 1999 and later became the dam of World Champion Mare Emanda and US National Champion Stallion Emanor, adding to the prestige of this celebrated lineage.
Emanta proved to be a highly productive broodmare, producing ten foals—six colts and four fillies. Eksterna was her first born daughter at Falbroek Arabians. (Emanta produced one filly and three colts for Michalow before sold to Falbroek Arabians) and is widely regarded as the most beautiful and well-known of Emanta's offspring. She was shown at the Polish Nationals in 1999, where she earned the title of Silver Champion Mare, showcasing her quality and strong pedigree.
Beyond her show career, Eksterna became a valuable broodmare at Falbroek Stud. One of her most notable offspring was the grey WH Justice son, Empower, who later became Polish National Gold Senior Champion Stallion in 2020. Eksterna produced her final foal for Falbroek Arabians in 2019, a filly by Eden C, before being sold to Al Jood Stud. There, she continued her role as a broodmare, giving birth to a filly by BV Unik in 2022 and a colt by D Wannas in 2023, further contributing to the legacy of her exceptional bloodlines.
