Among the younger generation of Arabian stallions emerging on the international stage, the grey stallion EKS Sirajj has quickly distinguished himself as a horse of exceptional type, quality, and promise. With his striking dapple-grey coat and aristocratic presence, Sirajj reflects both the rich heritage of his pedigree and the vision of the breeding program that produced him. He was born in 2018 at Elkasun Arabians in South Africa, a stud renowned for combining American, Spanish, Egyptian, and Polish bloodlines to produce refined, athletic Arabians with strong type and show presence.
EKS Sirajj represents the culmination of some of the most influential Arabian bloodlines of the modern era, combining refinement, type, and performance in both his sire and dam lines. His sire, Ibn Farid (2013–2025), a bay son by RFI Farid out of Asawir (by Marajj), traced directly to Mirage db via RSD Dark Victory and Bey Shah, bringing a heritage of classic elegance and proven show performance. Ibn Farid contributed significantly to this legacy during his lifetime, siring multiple championship offspring, and his own record reflected the quality and consistency of his bloodline. RFI Farid, Ibn Farid’s sire, was Italian National Champion Colt 2009, All Nation's Cup Bronze Champion Colt 210 and World Bronze Champion Colt 2010, establishing a strong international presence early in his career.
On the dam side, EKS Sirajj is out of EKS Bint Helwah (2013), a grey Straight Egyptian mare by Laheeb out of Helwah AA (by Al Ayad). Laheeb’s record is distinguished by multiple national and international titles, including Israeli National Champion Colt 1997, European Reserve Champion Colt 1999, and two times Israeli National Champion Stallion in 2003 and 2004. EKS Bint Helwah has already proven her genetic impact as the dam of EKS Sirajj's older full-brother EKS Farajj, World Gold Champion Colt and World Silver Champion Stallion.
EKS Sirajj has quickly established himself as a top competitor on the international Arabian show circuit. As a colt, he earned early recognition with the Junior Gold Champion Colt title at the 2020 Prague Intercup, followed by Junior Silver Champion Colt at the 2021 Elran Cup, signaling his potential from the outset. Transitioning to senior competition, he continued to excel, capturing Senior Gold Champion Stallion at the 2022 Elran Cup and achieving further distinction as German National Gold Champion Stallion in 2024, alongside a repeat Senior Gold Champion Stallion title at the Prague Intercup that same year.
In 2025, Sirajj maintained his competitive presence internationally, earning Silver Champion Stallion at both the GCAT in Valkenswaard and the Sharjah International Arabian Horse Festival, demonstrating consistent quality and type against elite competition. As of 2025 owned by Hanaya Arabian Stud in Switzerland, Sirajj represents a young stallion with proven show performance and the genetic foundation to influence future generations.
