Dajania was a bay Koheylah Dajaniyah. She was born in 1976 in the desert. The Blunts acquired her in Aleppo, Syria in 1977 for their Crabbet Park Stud in England where she arrived in July 1978 among five other purchased desert bred Arabians.
At Crabbet Park Dajania who was also called 'Jasmine' or 'Lady Hestor' gave birth to three colts (two by Kars, one by Faris) and two fillies (by Hadban and Maidan respectively). None of her sons sired any foals and only the Hadban filly bred on.
The name of the filly was Nefisa. Nefisa was an excellent broodmare that gave birth to 21 registered foals and founded the famous Crabbet 'N'-family. Her two daughters Nasra by Daoud and Narghileh by Mesaoud are the ones that had the most influence and through which Dajania's family survived until today.
Dajania was purchased by the Turkish Ambassador at the Third Sale in 1886. No foals are registered after that year and Dajania's exact date of death is not known
