Beau is sired by Marwan I, a Manganate son. Marwan I is standing with the Den Hartog Family at Kossack Stud. Beau's dam is the Pesniar daughter Barhatnaja who was bred by Tersk and imported to the Netherlands. She was sold later to Germany where Beau was born at the Stud of Princess Maximiliane zu Fuerstenberg. Beau is a successful endurance Champion. He was second with his German rider Sabrina Arnold at the European Championships in 2011.
