Authentic Dahman

The grey Straight Egyptian stallion Authentic Dahman was foaled on March 20, 2000. He was bred by Rosemarie Kolster at the renowned Authentic Arabian Stud/Germany, a program dedicated to preserving the finest representatives of Egyptian bloodlines. His pedigree combined, on the sire side, the German Elite stallion Maysoun, and on the dam side, Classic Dahra, whose family traced directly to the legendary desert-bred mare Bint El Bahrein (1898).
Authentic Dahman’s sire, Maysoun, carried the prestigious Saklawi sire line through Ansata Ibn Halima and earned recognition as the 2006 WAHO Trophy winner.
His dam, Classic Dahra was by Alidaar, a Morafic grandson, born in 1984 at Ruminaja Farm, Michigan who later was exported to Europe before he was acquired by Al Shaqab Stud in Qatar in 2000 where he died in 2010.
Classic Dahra's dam was the Ibn Moniet El Nefous daughter Dareeba or AK Dareeba. Dareeba was also the dam of Mahees, a sire used at Prof Jean Kayser's JKB Arabians in Luxembourg.
After her years in Germany, Classic Dahra was sold to Al Khaled Farm, where she later passed away.
Authentic Dahman made his mark early in the show ring. In 2009, he was named Gold Medal Stallion at the Licensing in Aachen. He followed with a Bronze Champion title at the B-show in Travagliato, Italy (2010). He was also Bronze Champion at the B-show in Frankfurt (2010), and Bronze Senior Champion Stallion at the German Nationals in 2011.
As a sire, Authentic Dahman consistently transmitted his refinement, type, and charisma to his offspring, with his daughters emerging as particularly notable representatives of his legacy. Among them, AJ Nashina, bred in Germany out of Nashwah AA, was later exported to Ajman Stud in the United Arab Emirates, joining one of the world’s most prestigious Arabian programs. Another standout daughter, GREA Bint Bint Khattara, achieved significant success in the show ring, earning Bronze Senior Champion at the B-show in Città di Castello and placing 4th in her class at the Italian Nationals, both in 2011.
In November 2015, Authentic Dahman was exported to Kuwait.
