In summer 2007, a beautiful dappled-grey mare entered the ring of the Orientalica show in Frankfurt/Germany. With her Arabian type, feminine expression yet without losing bone and substance she conquered the championships and won the Senior Champion Mare title. The name of this mare was The Princess of Egypt.
The Princess of Egypt was not unknown to the halter show ring. As a three-years old, she was awarded German National Junior Champion Filly, All Nations Cup Champion Filly and European Reserve Champion Filly all in 2000. Being Straight Egyptian by bloodline, The Princess of Egypt was shown at the Asil World Cup the same year where she was named Junior Champion Filly.
This lovely mare is a daughter by Orayan. Orayan was by Maysoun, a Ansata Halim Shah son out of the Messaoud daughter Oraya. Orayan was European and British National Champion Stallion. Unfortunately, this grey stallion died young before he could built up a bigger number of offspring.
The dam of The Princess of Egypt is Shahneekha. This bay mare was by Anaza Bay Shahh out of a Ibn El Mareekh daughter. She was imported from the United States to Germany by Horst Preuss of Madheen Arabians where she was used as broodmare producing 10 foals until she was exported to Al Salhia Stud in Saudi-Arabia.
The Princess of Egypt gave birth to her first foal (Princess Madheen) in 2002 by German National Champion Stallion Maydan-Madheen, followed by Princess Madheen's full-sister Munira Madheen in 2003. In 2005, The Princess of Egypt gave birth to her most notable son: Farid HP by Farres.
The second son born at Madheen Arabians was Mujahid Madheen by Alzeer Al Rayyan. Mujahid Mahdeen was used as endurance horse.
When Madheen Arabians was silently dispersed in 2007/2008, The Princess of Egypt was sold along with her full-sister Sharuby HP to the Middle East. While Sharuby HP went to Al Waab Stud in Qatar, The Princess of Egypt was acquired by Ajman Stud in the UAE.
For Ajman Stud, she - grown into a snow-white beauty - produced four colts by several halter show champions. No further foals out of her were registered after 2017.
