The bay stallion EH Zyrano De Beygerac represents a harmonious combination of Polish and Russian bloodlines with a valued trace of Crabbet blood. He is bred and owned by Caroline Bär at her Enserhof Stud in Germany.
Standing approx. 15.2 hands, EH Zyrano De Beygerac combines elegance and substance, expressing the classic Arabian silhouette in a sport-oriented frame. His well-balanced conformation, ground-covering movement, and excellent jumping aptitude made him a standout during his licensing and performance testing years.
In 2009, Zyrano De Beygerac was presented at the regional stallion registry event in Bavaria. Later that year, he was successfully licensed by the German Arabian Horse Association. Two years later, in 2011, he confirmed his promise by winning the Stallion Performance Test at Stadl Paura, achieving an overall score of 8.41 and earning the title Champion Stallion. His scores reflected his notable performance in gaits, jumping ability, and temperament, with marks of 8 for jumping style, underscoring his performance talent.
His sire Bey Shy (by Kouvay Bey, a son of the famous Bey Shah, out of Miss Ambernado by Marsianin) was a German Elite stallion of primarily Russian and Polish breeding. Born in 1996, Bey Shy himself earned early acclaim as Junior Champion Colt at the Arabica Show in Grub, Austria in 1997. He went on to sire several offspring, most notably Meenah Bey (ex Farids Mandolin), Junior Reserve Champion Filly at the Championnat d’Alsace in 2002.
His dam, Zalotnica, was bred at the Kurozw?ki Stud in Poland and represented classic Polish breeding. She was a daughter by Partner, a stallion known for passing on correct conformation and athleticism. Her dam was a granddaughter by the renowned Celebes. Zalotnica herself holds the title of German Elite Mare and was a cornerstone of the Enserhof breeding program. Over her long broodmare career, she produced 16 foals, among them Zebulon, a sire at Enserhof and stablemate to EH Zyrano De Beygerac.
Although Zyrano De Beygerac was not campaigned in halter shows, his influence as a sire is noteworthy. He has sired 13 foals, two of them premium foals, most bred at Enserhof.
The Enserhof program, under Caroline Bär’s direction, has long emphasized Arabian horses that combine classical type with functional athletic qualities suitable for sport. Within this vision, EH Zyrano De Beygerac exemplifies the ideal blend of Arabian charm and sportiness, as described by his breeder. His expressive character, reliable disposition, and willingness to perform made him a valued riding and breeding stallion rather than a show-ring competitor.
