Coco Shanel IA
The chestnut mare Coco Shanel IA was sired by Padrons Psyche. Padrons Psyche was by Russian/Crabbet bred stallion Padron out of Kilika, a Straight Russian daughter by Tamerlan. Padrons Psyche was very well-known for siring excellent performance and halter show horses, among those are World Senior Champion Mare Psyches Amber Gem, US National Senior Champion Stallion Enzo and -not to forget- Magnum Psyche, his most producing son and also US National Senior Champion Stallion. Exported to Belgium in his later years, Padrons Psyche died there in 2017.
Coco Shanel IA's dam Shahlica was a daughter by Bey Shah. US National Reserve and Scottsdale Reserve Champion Stallion Bey Shah was sired by Bay El Bey. Bey Shah was foaled in 1976 and was known for producing offspring with excellent conformation, movement, and athleticism. Some of his notable offspring include Fame VF, Bint Bey Shah and RSD Dark Victory (great grand sire of Int. Champion RFI Farid). Bey Shah passed away in 1999, but his influence on the Arabian breed has continued through his descendants.
Coco Shanel IA was imported from USA to Italy in 2006. Later she was sold to Al Shaqab stud that showed her in the Middle East. In 2012, she was Silver Senior Champion Mare at the Qatar International Arabian Horse Show. For Al Shaqab stud, she brought 4 fillies and 1 colt.
Adonah
The grey stallion Adonah was born in 1936 at the Ujazd Stud of Baron Bicker in Poland. The baron started his breeding program by importing four Crabbet mares. Among those mares was the chestnut Fasila, a daughter by Rasim who was also imported to Ujazd Stud along the mares in the 1920's.
Baron Bicker leased the stallion Fetysz between 1933 and 1935 which became the sire of 3 of Fasila's foals. One was a filly and the other two ones where the stallions Sulejman and Adonah. Sulejman was imported by Henry Babson of the United States while Adonah was kept in Poland.
Sire Fetysz was not only a successful Arabian horse producer but he was also chief sire at Trakehnen between 1936 and 1940 where he sired the Trakehner stallion Famulus. Famulus was the sire of Maharadscha whose sire-line is still active today among the Trakehner breed.
Fetysz was evacuated from Trakehnen in 1940/1941 and went lost during WW II after he was captured by the Russians.
Unlike his sire, Adonah survived WW II when he was brought to a private breeder in Poznan in 1943 from whom he was sent to Germany during the final days of the war.
From 1946 to 1949 he was state sire near Stendal before he was transferred to Berlin. In 1952, Dr. Karl Lehmann acquired him for his private stud in Haldensleben, East Germany where the Fetysz son nicked well with the Babolna bred mare Rozka who Dr. Lehmann acquired from Achental Stud. The mating produced four significant full-siblings: the stallions Abdullah and Raswan and the mares Risala and Rawanah.
Adonah was standing in Haldensleben until the sudden death of Dr. Lehmann in 1959.
The Zoo in Rostock took him over to help building up their Arabian horse breeding program, mostly based on Polish bloodlines. In Rostock, he produced only three purebred foals of which one was his most influential daughter: Arabella. This grey mare was a daughter out of Armenia by Witraz. Arabella was the dam of Arabeske who was considered the best Arabian mare bred by Zoo Rostock. Arabeske was awarded German Elite mare.
Th second daughter was Maruschka out of Grazyna by Roszmaryn. The last purebred Adonah sired was his only son born in Rostock. With the Marabut daughter Galka he produced the chestnut stallion Akif. Akif produced the stallion Achmed (x Rumailla by Jager) who became a well-trained dressage horse under Jutta Hell.
In 1963, Adonah died at the age of 27 in Rostock.
Eastwind
The gelding Eastwind is a son by Italian National, European and World Champion Senior Stallion Piruet, who was bred at Janow Podlaski Stud and is sired by Probat.
Eastwind's dam Elsina was bred by the German Ostenfelde Stud. She was sired by German Elite Stallion Camerton out of Ekipada by German Elite Stallion Euben, both of Pure Polish blood.
Eastwind has been teached a lot of tricks. His owner can crawl below his belly or Eastwind can do 'sit' like a dog.
Etnologia
In 2002 World Champion Stallion Gazal Al Shaqab was leased to Poland where he was used for two breeding seasons. His first foal crop at Janow Podlaski was born in 2003, among them was Etnologia.
Etnologia's dam Etalana traced back to the Albigowa bred mare Etna, a Faher daughter out of the bay mare Elzunia by Witraz. Etna founded a vital family of breeding horses and halter show champions there.
From 2008-2012, Etna was used as broodmare at Janow where she produced four foals: 1 colt, 3 fillies. In 2012, before she was purchased by Shirley and Charlie Watts/UK.
Her new owner showed her successfully. She was awarded All Nations Cup Silver Senior Champion Mare in 2013 and European Gold Champion Mare in 2016.
Arian Shah
The big stallion Arian Shah is sired by Jonathan El Ludjin and is out of LM Alisha. Jonathan El Ludjin directly traces back to Morafic in his sire line through the stallion Ruminaja Ali. Jonathan's dam, the bay NV Justa Dream is a daughter by Bey Shah (who was a top producer in the United States) and a grand daughter by the Polish stallion Toi Soldier. Bey Shah as well as Ruminaja Ali can be found on LM Alisha's pedigree, too. Also, Ali Jamaal can be found on both the dam and sire side of Arian Shah.
Arian Shah has a very mixed pedigree: While the Egyptian, Spanish and Polish lines dominate his pedigree, there is also whiff of Russian bloodlines through SR Nadom on his dam side. Exported to Germany, Arian Shah did well at the Koerung in Luhmuehlen and so was awarded Champion of the Koerung 2012 by the German Arabian Horse Association.
El Nabila B
While European and World Champion Stallion Kubinec was on breeding lease to Hungarian State Stud of Babolna in 1995 he covered several Straight Egyptian Mares. One of them was Elf Layla Walayla who delivered a grey colt the next June. That colt turned into the most successful representative of the Kubinec foal crop at Babolna. His name is El Nabila B, Arabic for 'The noble one'.
The grey colt grew up into a beautiful white swan impressing everyone with the athletics of his Russian sire and the Egyptian grace of his dam.
Both of his parents had been successfully shown in halter and so was El Nabila B.
In 2002, he was exported to Brazil where he turned to be Brazilian National Champion Stallion in 2004. In 2010, he was competing at the US Nationals where he was awarded National Champion Stallion.
Impressed by his beautiful daughters in Brazil, Johanna Ullstrom could acquire El Nabila B for Psynergy Patnership and brought him back to Europe in 2007.
Staying in Europe for quite some years he was re-imported to the US standing at Om El Arab now.
